No handphone for unmarried woman

Shocking news! I was like "Huh? How come got such thing nowadays?"

Dont you think it's rediculous?

Read on you will know.

India district bans cell phones for unmarried women

India district bans cell phones for unmarried women

A local council in northern India has banned unmarried women from carrying mobile telephones to halt a series of illicit romances between partners from different castes, media reports said Wednesday.

The Baliyan council in Uttar Pradesh state decided to act after at least 23 young couples ran away and got married over the last year against their parents' wishes.

"The panchayat (assembly) was convinced that the couples planned their elopement over their cell phones," village elder Jatin Raghuvanshi told the Calcutta Telegraph.

The rules of inter-caste marriages are complicated and extremely rigid in many rural communities in India, with some lovers even murdered in "honour killings" by relatives trying to protect their family's reputation.

"All parents were told to ensure their unmarried daughters do not use cell phones. The boys can do so, but only under their parents' monitoring," said Satish Tyagi, a spokesman for the village assembly.

Caste discrimination is banned in India but still pervades many aspects of daily life, especially outside the cities.

Traditional Hindu society breaks down into brahmins (priests and scholars), kshatriya (soldiers), vaishya (merchants) and shudra (labourers). Below the caste system are the Dalits, formerly known as "Untouchables".

Caste categories often determine Indians' life prospects, and conservative families will only marry within their own caste sub-division.

likey it

Without the distraction of msn and facebook, i hope i could finish off this entry shortly.
I had a great Sunday today by meeting out a bunch of friends and have done something which i wanted to do since long time ago-eye brow shaping.
It was a unique meeting for me because i did not expect it to be turned out so. Meeting an artist who i do not really know. Yet, he was quite handsome. :P (But it was non of my business because he has already engaged :()
It will be a great motivation for me after meeting meeting Eunice. It will never be a disappointed one. But thinking of the other side of the story, i will not be joining you guys so soon. At least at this moment, i would not do so.
Heading to Mid Valley to catch up with Jing and it was a good one. However, wonderful moment flies. In fact, it was really a dinner only. T.T
On top of all, i did eye brow shaping and im satisfied. To my surprise, i thought my hair was all right all the while. But the lady told me that i should have had a cut! I was like Oh No! How could that be? I just had it last month. I thought it was fine! It was really hard to get a stylist who knows your ideal hair cut well.

A brand new week soon!

I did not need to scratch my head thinking what to have for my dinner as my friend insisted wanna go for Chili's even though i wanted to try something new.
We ordered the same thing, that is, lamb shoulder. I was a bit regretted for ordering that because i was so tired cutting off the meat. FYI, im not a big fan of steak.

Much Awaited Big Bad Wolf Book Sale!

Any plan for the weekend? There is a book fair you shouldnt have missed out in South City Plaza, Serdang. It used to held in Amcorp mall according to some of the ladies whom i chit-chatted with yesterday. To my surprise, i spent most of my time queuing to make payment but not others. The line was moving slow and again, according to the ladies who have been to the fair in Amcorp Mall before, she claimed that it was more efficient than this. I would advice those who really wanna shop here to bring more CASH as the cash lane is moving faster.
Be prepared to splurge on this because the books are darn cheap. Imagine you can get those books with just 10 bucks which normally sell at 5o bucks. Therefore, people are carrying boxes of books instead of just a few books.
I bet the crowd during the weekend is gonna be a crazy one. All the best!
The book fair will end at 17 Nov.

10 Quirky facts about KISSING

Think you know a thing or two about kissing? You probably do. But the facts below are so off the beaten path, we’ll bet you don’t know them all — and they could come in handy. Not only could they provide some steamy “Did you know…?” small talk, but they’ll help you see all the benefits a satisfying liplock can bring into your life. Happy smooching!

1. Two out of every three couples turn their heads to the right when they kiss.

2. A simple peck uses two muscles; a passionate kiss, on the other hand, uses all 34 muscles in your face. Now that’s a rigorous workout!

3. Like fingerprints or snowflakes, no two lip impressions are alike.

4. Kissing is good for what ails you. Research shows that the act of smooching improves our skin, helps circulation, prevents tooth decay, and can even relieve headaches.

5. The average person spends 336 hours of his or her life kissing.
6. Ever wonder how an “X” came to represent a kiss? Starting in the Middle Ages, people who could not read used an X as a signature. They would kiss this mark as a sign of sincerity. Eventually, the X came to represent the kiss itself.

7. Talk about a rush! Kissing releases the same neurotransmitters in our brains as parachuting, bungee jumping, and running.

8. The average woman kisses 29 men before she gets married.

9. Men who kiss their partners before leaving for work average higher incomes than those who don’t.

10. The longest kiss in movie history was between Jane Wyman and Regis Tommey in the 1941 film, You’re in the Army Now. It lasted 3 minutes and 5 seconds. So if you’ve beaten that record, it’s time to celebrate!

keep it up

想是问题,行动是答案。
要想如何去赚更多的钱, 而不是如何去省钱。

The above two sentences keep going in my mind these few days and i think i ought to share it here.
It can be a reminder as well in case it slips from my mind.

Have you tried before?

Had a scrumptious dinner with my family at Dynasty Dragon@IOI yesterday.
Meeting two cute notty boys who made a lot of noise during the dinner.
Indeed, it was my first time to have PoonChoy & ShunHock fish which i can say it's almost the same standard as LV if we were to compare it with a bag.

PoonChoy

Bamboo Fish which is commonly known as Shun Hock Fish.

two ways Choisam (with one end fried and the other end steamed)

Last but not least, dessert of the day! Mango Pudding

Best Seller does not taste good

Had my first ever Fish&Co@1u few weeks back. But it wasn't a good meal though. A bit disappointed due to the poor service which we waited more than half an hour for the food to be served. We doubted that they did not place the order for us. T.T
The best seller as shown below wasnt as good as i've thought. Worst still, i was thinking why they put it as they best seller? You will get sick of the thick fried fillet after few bites. However, the chips were not bad.

I believe.....

Feeling a bit emo after reading it..:(
It seems like a reflection on me.
But...things have become complicated and i need to simplify it.

Spotted in Tanjung Sepat

I always wanted to blog about this famous Baoz shop in Tanjung Sepat. Been procrastinated for few months. Could only remember it when i rummaged my photo albums.
Even the well known food critic from Hong Kong- Tou Tou set foot in this shop as well.
We were so lucky that we could get to buy the Baoz on the spot which normally you need to make reservation.

Pray before you GAMBLE

Longing to visit Chin Swee Temple since long time ago. Finally, i made it few months back.
It's not a good weather because it started drizzling and it was hazy when we reached there in the afternoon.
People claim that it will bring you luck in casino if you pray in the temple before you heading to casino. Listen, it's before not after.
I did visit the temple and indeed uncle lim treated me "yumcha". But it can proof anything because i did not pray though. I just paid a visit in the temple. ><
