Malaysian bloggers reap up to RM1 million per year
Came across this news twice within just a few hours and i think i should share it here.
Never thought of this figure could be earned by a famous blogger! 1 mil?! No wonder some of those bloggers are so rich to travel around!! *envy*
Reporting on a Berita Harian (a Malaysian newspaper) story, The Star (another Malaysian daily) revealed that the annual incomes of local bloggers and blog operators can go up to RM1 million.
These days, many are leveraging their blogs in search of business transactions or advertisement placements. The average monthly income of such bloggers are reported to be a whopping RM70,000.
Berita Harian shone the spotlight on one blogger - Mira Abu Bakar, who hit an advertising revenue of RM12,000 for a month in 2008. She earns RM2,000 on average through her blog Redmummy.com
Of course a blog's revenue is dependent on its popularity - measured in pageviews and visitors. This point was reinforced by Nuffnang (M) Sdn Bhd manager Nicholas Chay. So don't quit your day job just yet.

Peacock in the house
Okay. Back to track. Initially, i planned to head to KL get my laptop before heading to Mid Valley. Eventually, we ended up in Mid Valley early in the morning. Yes, to me its kinda early- ard 10.30AM!! However, there were lotsa people doing shopping at that time already. The decor in Mid Valley is just nice but not as nice as Pavilion. Teehee..By the way, the peacocks (not a real one of course) in The Gardens are magnificent!
Here comes the peacock!

e.m.o.
It has been a long time ( at least a few weeks already) that i last slept early on Saturday.
It was like a piece of shit. Hence, i decided to get a gud rest and gear for the shopping spree next day.
It was like 12-hour-shopping spree and indeed it was a nice one although my gals were a bit tired. :))
Splurged a lot for the past few weeks as well and gonna continue next week as well. :(( Anyone wanna sponsor a bit? LOL
I could say that i've almost done with my shopping and hopefully Im able to get my shoes in the coming week.
Had dinner at Sushi Zanmai@Fahrenheit and i thought i met Chuckei. Yeah! I thought because i could see her from the back.
Sushi Zanmai didnt impress me this time. The rice was a bit damp. :((

McDonald's employee fired for letting Peterson use the restroom
An assistant manager at McDonald's was fired after allowing Minnesota Vikings star Adrian Peterson to use the bathroom while the restaurant was closed.
While working the late-night drive-thru shift at 3 a.m., a female employee encountered a man standing outside the window who asked to come inside and use the restroom. After a little while, she realized it was the popular Minnesota Vikings star and opened the door for him to come inside and use the facilities. (The seating area at the restaurant is normally closed during the late-night hours.)
One week later, the mother of three was fired for the offense.
"He's a public figure... I know him better than some of the maintenance people that come in and out," she told The Consumerist. "I never thought in a million years that that decision was going to cost me my career."
Jeez, McDonald's. It's not like she was letting in Brett Favre(notes) or Bryant McKinnie(notes). He's Adrian Peterson, the most famous Vikings player of all! If you can't do a solid for AD, who can you?
There's a silver lining at the end of these golden arches, though: After the local media reported on the woman's termination, McDonald's gave her back her old job.
Let this be a lesson to all you fast-food employees keen on handing out favors to famous athletes. It doesn't matter if Tom Brady(notes) walks through those doors; he has to pay $0.39 for supersizing just like everyone else.

Black Sunday
Even though it's just second day of new year, i've experienced quite a few "first-time" already. Some are bad, some are good. Let's start with the spoiler. Kena my first ever summon yesterday when i was on the way to KL. Neither beg nor offer was made. Ok. Have to stop talking about this as not to affect my mood. TT
Was made my move to Sogo in search of my bags. Thanks god that i managed to spot the one i like. Or else i would have to desperately look for it AGAIN. Deepest gratitude to my honey siew for bringing me there as well. :))
Had my first Korean cuisine with my gals yesterday. It has been a long time since i last took the Korean cuisine. I was wondering whether their rice does any wonder because it seems like we could easily get full even though we have not eaten a lot. :( Nevertheless, i like the Korea Barley water! Nice!
Here i end my post with my last first-time for this month i guess. I own my first ever blazer by Zara!! *yippie* It was not the same as the one i tried last week but it fits. Without giving it much thought and i was ready to splurge on it, i grabbed it! It was the last piece as well!
Gonna share my korean cuisine in my coming post.
