Dragon Boat

Spent two days to visit the temples in Kelantan. Among all, i like the Dragon Boat Temple a lot. Perhaps, i could see something "chinese" there. As normally, i could only saw the temples with thai features but not like the chinese temples i used to see. It does impress me with it's exquisite building.

Dropped by Terengganu for brunch before reaching Kelantan.
There are two things impress me in Terengganu which they will all be shown below.

Spotted in Tanjung Sepat

I always wanted to blog about this famous Baoz shop in Tanjung Sepat. Been procrastinated for few months. Could only remember it when i rummaged my photo albums.
Even the well known food critic from Hong Kong- Tou Tou set foot in this shop as well.
We were so lucky that we could get to buy the Baoz on the spot which normally you need to make reservation.

Seafood Fiesta II

Back to my Perak trip. As i said, a must-crave-for meal in Perak is seafood. Below is a restaurant found in the town of Teluk Intan which offers reasonable dishes.

fresh prawns

"He go bak" which means lai liu ha in cantonese

sizzling tofu

You only need to pay around 1+ per pax even though u order those seafoods i mention above which normally cost u a lot..at least not this cheap.

Great Wall in Malaysia

Introducing the Chinese temple in Pangkor Island- Fu Lin Kong which you should pay a visit to when you step into the island. It is one of the famous temple in Pangkor island with exquisite environment. There are various Buddhist statues inside the temple where alcoves and ponds can be found. Looking forward to visit the Great Wall in China? You could find a mini ones beside this temple.

The style of the architecture of any Chinese temples is more or less the same which has the dragons.

Other than gettin the blesses from the god, tourists can proceed to this pond to make their wish

'Shou' which means life span. It is believed that the turtle is able to lengthen the life span.

Numerous rock paintings can be found outside the temple as well

Pangkor - Part 2

Speaking of the Pangkor trip, there are two parts- the ship and the factory.
Part I - Here are some of the pictures where we saw along the way to the factory which processes the dry sotong and fish.

Wonder what are the purposes of these ply wood? They are the papan where they use to build a ship.
the process of building a ship

Taadaa, the outcome!

Part II - the factory which processes mainly the sotong and fishes

the lady is cleaning the small fish
then, the fish is to be dried

later, the dried fish is to be compressed
ready for packaging

Here comes the familiar scene. These are the dried-sugar-coated-sotong
An array of dried sotong on the rack
ps: this is a must-go place when u pay a visit to Pangkor as you can see the process of preparing the sotong which you normally eat. What so good about it, you can try before you buy.
But you do not necessary to buy a bulk of souvenirs from this factory as there are a lot of stores out there which sell the same thing as well.

Enchanting Island

This post is a continuous from the previous one where more pics about the BEACH..

Sunlight shining in through the leaves of a tree (I, personally, think that this pic is artistic..Wat say you?)

Welcome to Pangkor Island (this is the cave right beside a temple at the white beach)

The sea water gently splash on the rocks

FYI, there are a few beaches in Pangkor Island. Say, white sand beach, yellow sand beach, golden sand beach, black sand beach. Below are a two of them. And no one is allowed to step in the blackie beach because it's dangerous.

Don't miss this whenever you have a chance to chill at any beach..(but make sure the sand is fine and clean)

pity cp...But she looks quite enjoy tho..hahaha

Mermaid Ping (cute huh?)

Peace!
